Peter Zimmer

Peter Zimmer, a mortgage industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, currently serves as Senior Managing Director at Invictus Capital Partners and is a member of the Management and Investment Committees.

In this role he heads up all Capital Markets activities for the firm and has been essential in building upon Invictus’s successful strategy of investing in newly-originated non-QM loans. Prior to joining Invictus, he served as vice president of Whole Loan Trading at FBR, where he built the whole loan acquisition platform necessary to trade whole loans and manage an RMBS portfolio. In that role, he oversaw valuation, management and pricing of mortgage product offerings at FBR’s wholly-owned mortgage originator. Mr. Zimmer started his career as a whole loan trader at GMAC-RFC in Minneapolis, where he was responsible for the pricing and acquisition of both prime and non-prime whole loan pools. Mr. Zimmer is a graduate of the University of North Dakota where he earned a degree in Financial Management.
